Valentine’s Day is a fun holiday that many people enjoy. It is also a time when you can have another party! This is fun to organize because all the party supplies are fun to gather and most of the decorations are hearts. When you decide to have a Valentine’s Day party, you can include the following games.
1. Hide and Seek My Valentine: as you may have guessed, this is basically hide and seek. The only difference is, you will be hiding a Valentine Card or Heart; anything that is holiday appropriate really. Once you hide the object, you will then instruct the kids to go in the room and find the object. After they find the object, they need to return to their seat as quickly as possible. The first kid to be at their seat with the correct location wins and gets to hide the object next. This works best for kids ages 4-10.
2. Valentine’s Day Hunt: This is a great way to keep the kids active throughout the time of the party. Before the kids show up, hide at least one card per person in a room. You will label them with different heart designs to distinguish which one is which. On a table, you will have the prizes that correspond with each card. Instruct the kids to search for these cards throughout the party to get a prize. Just so no one goes home sad, always have extra gifts to go around. Well who appreciates Valentine's Day more than children? They never tire of getting those cards and candy. And what's still in fashion since you were little? Why those decorated shoeboxes to collect all those cards. Remember how excited you were to see if you could fill up your box? There are fun Valentine stickers and cutouts to help make the decorating easy.
