VALENTINE CHARADE: Its that special holiday time of year and you'll need a good party game or two to make that Valentine's Day party great. So for the next Valentine's Day party that you host, make sure to fill it with lots of fun games to play with your guests. It will be a perfect way to start the Valentines party or even to just get everyone laughing. For this Valentine game, half the players must go outside the door of the party games area, while half stay in the room and choose a word of one syllable, which should not be too difficult. For instance, suppose the word chosen be "Flat," those who are out of the party games area are informed that a chosen word rhymes with "Cat," and they then have to act, without speaking, all the words they can think of that rhyme with "Cat." Supposing their first idea is "Bat," they come into the room and pretend to play baseball. They are wrong so everyone hisses at them, and they must then hurry outside again. They might next try "Rat," most of them going into the room on their hands and feet, whilst the others might pretend to be frightened. Again they would be hissed. At last the boys will go into the party games area and fall flat on their faces, while the girls pretend to use flat-irons upon their hair. The loud clapping that follows tells them that they are right at last. They then change places with the audience, who, in turn, become the actors. The group who finishes in the shortest amount of time, wins the Valentines prize. You can find great Valentine's Day party favors for the prizes.
